Where can National Book Tokens be spent?

National Book Tokens gift cards (and e-Gift cards) can be spent in bookshops across the UK and Ireland, and online. Bookshops include Waterstones, WHSmith (excluding Travel outlets in stations and airport locations), Blackwell's, Easons, Foyles, and local independent bookshops. Online bookshops include bookshop.org, blackwells.co.uk, foyles.co.uk, hatchards.co.uk, and waterstones.com (UK), bookstation.ie, omahonys.ie, and blackwells.co.uk (Ireland), and a number of independent bookshops.

Do National Book Tokens have an expiry date?

National Book Token gift cards have an 8 year expiry period from the date of last use. However, if they do expire our policy is to replace expired gift cards (conditions apply).

What will happen after I place my order online?

This site is operated by Voucher Express on behalf of National Book Tokens. We will send you an email from nationalbooktokens@voucherexpress.net to confirm that we received your order. We will send you another email before your requested delivery informing you that your Gift Card has been despatched. If we are not able to process your order, we will contact you by email.

Is same day despatch available?

What are the payment methods?

We accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

How secure is my card payment?

For secure card payments we use a validated Level 1 PCI DSS compliant service provider and all transactions are subject to validation and authorisation by us and your card issuer. For better protection 3D secure security measures may require you to enter a password, or get a security code by your card issuer. Alternatively, you can use your PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay account.
